Directions
Apply your Total Cover Foundation starting from the T-zone and blending out toward the edge of the face, this will create an even, flawless base. 2. Take a step back and access any areas that need a little extra coverage. Gently press additional product into these areas, blending the edges for a smooth, full coverage finish.

I was sent this by L'Oreal for a trial. I generally stick to lighter formulas that give me good cover, but without the full on matte effect of Total Cover. Having said that, it does what it claims and camouflages well. I can't vouch for the claim about covering tattoos since I don't have any. It would be interesting to see if it is as good as Vichy Dermablend for that purpose as I have seen that used by someone else for that reason. I can say it is water resistant and doesn't budge! I had to double cleanse to remove all of Total Cover. I'm not sure I will use it as a foundation, but it will be a perfect concealer. If you do want to use it as a foundation, I would suggest prepping your skin well first with a good serum and/or moisturiser.
