Ok I admit it! I was drawn to this product by its design and weird and wonderful in bottle design! Saying this I am really impressed with this product! This one step system from Stila is supposed to correct hues in your skin tone, brighten the complexion and prep and prime the skin ready for makeup application! The formula is partly gel and partly cream. The cream is in 3 shades in a twisty candy looking formation inside the tube. The three separate colour are the colour correction:
1) Green to neutralize redness and conceal blemishes
2) lavender to counteract sallow undertones and give your skin a vibrant glow
3) Peach to brighten and illuminate
4) A clear gel base to hydrate the skin.

The whole product is housed in a clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser which releases just the right amount of product for one application. When you release the product from the tube you get a clear gel with bizarre colour mixed in. It applies to the face easily and immediately absorbs. It most certainly does correct colour issues in the skin and gives a more even skin tone and a definite radiance and dewy glow. This primer does not contain silicone and does not feel powdery on the skin. It is supposed to mask open pores and whilst there was a slight coverage in this area it was not as significant as I hoped.
All in all your skin certainly looks good and I find that I do not need to use a heavy moisturiser under this product. Your makeup does apply evenly on top although I wouldn’t say it gives extra longevity. In a nutshell I am really happy with this primer for its colour correction capabilities but as a primer to even out large pores and fine lines I have certainly used better. However I will not take the glory away from this product. If you have dry skin, colour tone issues or are sensitive to silicone based products this is a fantastic buy!
