This shampoo is wonderfull from first use i was really pleased with it as i only needed a small amount as the lather was so full and rich so immediately could see this would be very long lasting for me . It really cleansed my hair well with the first wash and i really loved the scent it lingered through out my hair even when i had dried and styled it i think it is well worth its price .

Summary
This product is stylishly packaged in a coordinating colourway with its partner product. The dispensing cap reduces mess and helps control the quantity of the product used. It also prevents the bottle becoming waterlogged in the shower. The deliciously scented, mid-textured, pearlised cream is easy to smooth onto hair and massage into the scalp. It is not so runny that any product is lost in transfer. Creating a light lather, the product cleanses well and is effective with only one wash. Not a great deal of product is required, making it better value for money than would at first appear. Look out for offers on this brand, they have many promotions which make purchases good value.

Didn't moisturise my hair as expected. It left my hair very soft but fluffy with "flyaway" hairs and not as shiny as my usual product.
Summary
My "normal" shoulder length bobbed hair was sun and wind damaged following my hols. Before trying this I had started to use a £6 shampoo aimed at frizzy hair and my hair was recovering. I have used the Molton Brown product for the last 10 days and have yet to see any improvement in the condition of my hair. I am so disappointed as I wanted it to work. I don't expect any shampoo to truly repair damaged hair but I would at least expect to achieve a smoothing effect which unfortunately didn't happen for me with this product

Being a fan of Molton Brown for the past 20 years I was excited to try this new shampoo and conditioner by Molton Brown. As always the bottles are the iconic design of the MB range and I love the consistency of the design. The MB bottles for me are always a sign of quality and they stand out easily to MB lovers. They have a practical flip top lid that is easy to operate and prevents any over usage of your product. I always find shampoos difficult to review as when a range is targeted towards a particular hair issue I find that the conditioners tend to be the most effective on your targeted problem. However, the huge excitement for me was that this time around I found that the shampoo of this range was the most effective for my hair. Whilst this is unusual, I am thrilled that for once, my conditioner is outlasting the shampoo!
When dispensed the shampoo has a creamy, off white colour and nice medium consistency. You only need a tiny amount as the product is highly concentrated and lathers wonderfully on contact with your hair. I have fine hair, past shoulder length which is consistently damaged due to colouring, styling and environmental damage. Once lathered and rinsed I am amazed at how silky soft my hair feels and it also leaves the impression that my hair has been thickened but thoroughly cleansed. It is easily rinsed away. Whilst I could not possibly brush my hair after shampooing with any range, without conditioning first, this shampoo certainly has the beginnings of a good conditioner and if tangles are not a problem for your hair you could easily use this product without the need for a conditioner. After use the hair shaft appears repaired, smooth, soft and stunningly shiny! The highlights in my hair just love this shampoo!!
Perhaps the most important part of the MB ranges for me is the stunning scents that go along with each product. This shampoo certainly does not disappoint! When lathered you get a beautiful aroma of black pepper, amber and exotic flowers that is a stunning treat for the hair and senses! The scent lingers in the bathroom and on your hair for a long while after showering. It is not overpowering or sickly and gives a subtle scent of class and the exotic. If you have never tried the MB brand you are missing out on a beauty indulgence that in my opinion has never been beaten! This is a stunning edition to my hair care range and I have no intention of changing from this product now. Highly recommended!!

The best thing about this shampoo was that when used together with the conditioner from the same range, I felt no need to apply any hair products on my wet hair which I normally apply to tame my frizzy damaged hair -and this was only after the first wash. After regularly using this product, my hair truely feels repaired and refreshed.
