- How to use:
Apply shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through to ends, then rinse hair thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with AVEENO® Clarify & Shine+ Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner for best results.-

Summary
Generally I like Aveeno products and they work well for my skin, on which I usually use prescription lotion, so I was excited to try this shampoo when they brought it out. It gets great reviews for its cleansing power and will detoxify. This was true however, even though it says it has sulfate-free surfectants (and nothing will instantly cause my scalp to flake like SLS), it still gave me a flaky scalp, so I had to stop using it. There is a sulfate listed in the ingredients, so I will have to remember which one it is so I can avoid it in other SLS-free shampoos.
