Thanks for that - there is an ad at the bottom of this page too that asks for a contribution to P+P and I am always very hesitant with things like this.

Gosh Dese how unfortunate that they still operate near you! They are certainly gone from here. Although these stand units seem to have been taken up with Brow bars! Another plague when you're out shopping or browsing!

Sadly they are still operating near me, but I wouldn't allow myself to be sucked in by their 'offers'. The last one was a French company, and they return from time to time. I said I would think about it, and checked the product on the internet. I could purchase it cheaper than from the stand, even with their apparent deals!

These types of companies set themselves up in shopping mall with stand and quite often eastern european staffing. Who always approach you with "can i ask you a question?", offering a free sample, then before you know it you have been conned into buying a full set of these so called beneficial products with a 'massive' saving for that day. They eventually closed these stalls down as the mall management receive vast complaints about them. As far as i know they no longer practice this style of pressure selling within shopping malls. It seems they now use the faceless method of the internet!
I hope maxcarrie1 is successful in getting out of this appalling situation. :)

I paid the postage fee of £3.95 but didnt realise in the same print it said after 14 days if I didn't want the products I would be charged £97! I ordered the products on one night and when I read the small print I emailed straight away the same night to say cancel the order. What a surprise they said it was too late to cancel and the products had been shipped. The annoying thing is not only did the take the £3.95 from my card, they then took another £2.95 without my permission. Plus told me I would have ship them back to Israel when they are stored in the UK. I am having an on going dispute with them which my bank are helping with as I can't stop them taking money. Just be careful and read the small print.

That's terrible!

Thanks for the warning maxcarrie1. It's much appreciated.

P.S. Thanks for the warning.

I also got burned recently when buying a Christening gift by internet for my little Goddaugher. The company turned out to be fraudulent. It seems that, as I paid by bank transfer and then notifed them by e-mail (method instructed by the vendor), the bank has no responsibility in recovering my lost money, they are only obliged to let me know who is the holder of the account. Great!

It seems there are plenty of scammers out there who know how to work the system. :pinch:

I don't know whether investigating your rights of purchasing by internet might help, as the company is based in another country, the same rules may not apply. Click this link for some ideas:
