Review Detail

First I best explain my hair. I have very long waist length hair, there is also ALOT of it, so curling it takes around an hour or more. I bought this styler because I just wasn't getting the desired effect from my GHD's, they were reasonably priced and had great reviews already. They come boxed with one heat resistant glove, which to be honest you wont really need once you get the hang of them. The styler does what it says, it will form a curl either tight or loose depending on how you wrap your hair around the barrel. The curls will hold for a reasonable amount of time, but I think its very much dependent on your hair type rather than the styler. The only issues I have with this particular curling wand was:

A) Having very long hair curling from root to tip proved to be quite difficult, you have to do it in sections which can leave a join mark and be quite hard to do on your own.
B) Because the buttons for heat control and on/off function are place on the handle I often found I would accidentally turn off the wand while trying to curl my hair which can be quite annoying.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product because despite the two little points I made above, the overall result far outweighs the two little hurdles you may or may not encounter. One extra plus, is that I found it made my hair look super silky and shiny, which on blonde hair is rare!
